Fielding was raised in Thomasville, Georgia. "T'ville" has always been a hot bed of a lingering Southern Heritage which, in spite of dying traditions, was a place which echoed Plantational Society though thrice removed. The style was mannerisms of the old south and the diminishing racial issues of that time. Fielding left this world in 1974 and found northeast Georgia and western North Carolina mountains to be calling. "I needed to find solid ground preferably rock and depart the swamps and floating ground of South Georgia.

Since the age of 12, Fielding found the art of collecting image data to have a strong influence and attraction Long before digital, the act of collecting and preserving images was difficult, possessed a short lifetime, and was considerably expensive for the dabbler.

Fielding was educated in Biology and Chemistry and chose to Teach. These were wonderful years and an honor to have had the opportunity to affect the learning of so many beautiful children of Northeast Georgia. The art grew throughout these times as did technology. After leaving the classroom, technology became the path and the learning curve was steep. It was technological development and application that opened the door to the future and a return to the photographic art begun long ago.

Apple Computer made this a reality through the Macintosh line of equipment.
